History and achievements: The Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Madanepalle was formed in the year of 1998. This institute has also been recognized by UGC and affiliated to JNTU Anantapur. The campus is constructed over a spread of 26.17 acres of land. The college has accreditations and collaborations with NBA, NAAC, international universities like BBNO University of Technology of Czech Republic, Maharshi Vedic University of Holland, Providence University of Taiwan. MITS offers 30 courses across 6 different streams which are namely Engineering, Hostel Management, IT, Science, Art, and also 7 different degrees like B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, etc.
