History and achievements: DAV University, Jalandhar commenced its establishment in 2013. It is run and promoted by the DAV College Managing Committee. The university offers engineering, social science, computer applications, management, law, journalism courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It was established by the Punjab State Legislature and approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC).
