History and achievements: Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh came into existence as a State Private University under Punjab Govt. Desh Bhagat University Act, 2012. It has evolved from Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes, which was established in 1996 near Mandi Gobindgarh, a well-known industrial town of Punjab, and has its campuses at Mandi Gobindgarh, Muktsar, Moga, Chandigarh and Kenya.
